France's state civil aviation university, founded in 1949. Its EPL airline-pilot course is an integrated ATPL of about 24 months, financed by the state: students pay only yearly tuition (€1,500 in 2026), housing and meals. Entry is by competitive exam with very few places (about 20 a year across the three routes in 2026), and is open to EU and EEA nationals only. Theory is taught in Toulouse and flying at seven training centres across France; ENAC also trains cadets for airlines.

Horario: 2026 competition: registration 1 December 2025 – 30 January 2026; written exams in maths, physics and English on 31 March; psychotechnical and psychomotor tests 18–22 May; interviews, group exercises and English oral 15–19 June; Class 1 medical in July. About 14 places.

Financiación: The state pays the technical training costs. A means-tested maintenance grant is available to EPL students (under 28 for the university and professional routes) and to the preparatory cycle.
