About School Metar

Why it exists

Choosing a flight school is one of the largest decisions an aspiring pilot makes, and most of the information comes from the schools themselves. School Metar brings what can be confirmed into one structured format so schools can be compared fairly: programmes, the airfield you would fly from, fleet, accommodation, costs and airline links.

What we are not

School Metar is not an aviation authority, it does not approve or audit training organisations, and it does not provide training. Regulatory approvals are always to be confirmed with the school and the national aviation authority.

How we stay honest

• We list a school only when a source confirms it exists.
• Every fact carries a status — verified, school reported, estimated or unconfirmed — and links its source.
• We never invent prices, fleet sizes, runway data, approvals, reviews or partnerships.
• Paid placements are always labelled and never change a school's data or status.
